Some weddings are more special than others to me. This one is a fine example. I first met Haley and Topher at Topher’s sister Katie’s wedding, which I had the honor of planning just over four years ago. Haley and Topher had just started dating at that time and she accompanied him to Katie & Scott’s wedding.
At that time, the Chan family became family to me. They are such amazing people – local farmers who would open up their home and a bottle of wine for you any time. When I heard the news that Haley and Topher were engaged, I {not-so} patiently waited for the call, hoping they would enlist my services to once again create an amazing day for them.
Haley and Topher were married on a perfect October day, in the middle of the pear orchard, at the family’s farm in Courtland. With a whopping 500+ guests in attendance, Haley and Topher exchanged their vows set in front of a beautiful arbor created by Haley’s dad – which was made from pear crates.
The reception that followed was absolute perfection, filled with dancing {thanks to Music & More DJ who had the dance floor packed all night!}, drinks and anincredible spread from Jackson Catering. And as the evening began to wind down, guests were treated to a fireworks display.

Having performed a few weddings in the farming community, I had the privilege of bumping into a few past clients and friends at this amazing gathering. I even had the opportunity to dance with Katie and Scott’s adorable baby boy, Parker. This wedding was another home run for the Chan Family!
